Introduction

Our client, a leading Australian mining organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team at their Perth site. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled individual with strong experience in Run of Mine (ROM), Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), and Haul Road Design.

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil design projects, focusing on ROM, NPI, and haul road infrastructure.
  • Oversee project development from concept to detailed design.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
  • Provide technical expertise and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site assessments and monitor project progress.
  • Ensure project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on mining projects.
  • Proven experience in ROM, NPI, and haul road design.
  • Strong understanding of Australian design standards and mining regulations.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders.
