As the Machine Automation team expands, we are seeking multiple Machine Automation Engineers with expertise in the mechatronics field.

What are you going to do 

As a Machine Automation Engineer, your goal will be to design, develop, and validate sophisticated control systems for automated machinery. You'll be responsible for the seamless integration of hardware, software, and human-machine interfaces (HMI). This role focuses on developing reliable asynchronous control sequences and state machines, as well as comprehensive machine behavior management, including safety, diagnostics, error management, and calibration. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing advanced automation solutions, with a focus on ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of automated machinery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing safety protocols and damage control mechanisms.
  • Developing self-calibration routines.
  • Setting up machine initialization and recovery processes.
  • Creating shutdown behavior sequences.
  • Designing auxiliary system functions.
  • Building UML diagrams for system planning.
  • Writing firmware and software specifications.
  • Outlining HMI specifications.
  • Validating machine operation sequences.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Skilled in creating UML diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms and state machine design.
  • Proven experience developing state machine logic for machine operations.
  • Proficient in programming PLCs for control applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
