Introduction

In this role, they oversee work processes and are jointly accountable for operational results, reporting to the Engineering Manager of the Radar Core Segment and the Head of Discipline Software Engineering.

  • Primary responsibility: Build and maintain autonomous software development teams, fostering trust, collaboration, and personal growth.
  • Scope: Manage workflows and contribute to operational outcomes for teams developing high-end data-processing software for radar and sensor systems.
  • Reporting: Directly to the Engineering Manager (Radar Core Segment) and the Head of Software Engineering Discipline.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Leadership: Proven experience managing software engineers, with a focus on Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical mindset, transparency, results-driven, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Personal traits: Team player with a "can-do" attitude, adept at self-reflection, and skilled in adapting management styles.
  • Candidates must be Dutch nationals, other nationalities are not accepted for this particular role.
