A market-leading provider of technical inspection services is seeking a strategic and driven Business Manager to oversee its Field Services & Inspection division across Australia and PNG.

This Brisbane-based role will suit a commercially minded leader with a strong operational background and a passion for driving business performance and service excellence.

What are you going to do 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of inspections including NDT, smart NDT, and OCTG services.
  • Execute business and sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Manage key financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Lead a diverse team with a focus on high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and manage subcontractor arrangements.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Engineering qualifications and/or extensive experience in technical inspection services.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in scaling operations.
  • High-level planning, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
