Brunel is proud to partner with a leading energy business to appoint a Construction Engineer - Civil/Structural for a brownfield infrastructure upgrade. This is an opportunity to join a high-performance project delivery team supporting the safe and efficient construction of fluid handling facilities

What are you going to do 

  • Provide civil construction engineering support across trenching, undergrounds, and structural works to enable the delivery of a fluid treating facility and cable route installation.
  • Manage technical interfaces between engineering and construction through the TQ process, supporting schedule and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Construction Engineers and Execution Contractors on Scope of Works, fabrication, and site delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring construction safety processes and safeguards are upheld.
  • Identify execution productivity barriers and work alongside site analysts to resolve and optimise.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with strong site-based construction experience.
  • Proven exposure to brownfield infrastructure or LNG projects within a structured project environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and interface management experience.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering standards and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • Committed to a safe, efficient, and quality-driven work culture.
