Introduction

Brunel are hiring Dozer & Articulated tipper operators to support the delivery of the Rio Tinto - Weipa - Amrun Haul Road project from June to December.

What are you going to do 

We have a current opportunity for operators on a contract basis. The required positions will be undertaking construction and maintenance of mine site haul roads and tailings dams.

The task associated with this position will interface and directly engage with typical high-risk construction and mining operations. The successful applicant must demonstrate a high level of maturity; sound reading and writing skills, complimented with the ability to understand written procedures with a high level of risk awareness and have confidence to actively engage in shift start meetings.

Due to requirements only Dozer operators with Articulated tipper experience and tickets will be required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

The successful candidate must have extensive and recent experience with the operation of dozers in the range of CAT D6 and CAT D8 and articulated tippers in the range equivalent to Moxy 740 tippers, complimented with one or more other RII HME tickets such as articulated water cart; roller; excavator; compactor as well as S11 and Coal board medical equivalent or ability to acquire.
