Introduction

On behalf of Woodside, we are seeking an Occupational Hygiene Advisor to join their team in their CBD office. This role is responsible for the delivery, advice, planning, support, and training of hygiene activities to the Australia region.

What are you going to do 

  • Advise operational teams on occupational health and hygiene related issues.
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate occupational hygiene processes and programs.
  • Provide health risk assessment expertise.
  • Perth based role with site travel required.
  • Provide advice and guidance on health and hygiene related processes, standards, and issues.
  • Deliver health risk assessments, exposure monitoring campaigns, and health and hygiene assurance activities.
  • Provide training for monitoring and testing programs (including benzene, mercury, radiation).
  • Input into incident investigations.
  • Experienced in risk communication and able to deliver health and hygiene awareness.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational hygiene
  • Extensive experience in occupational hygiene in oil and gas or resources industry
  • Effective communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders' expectations.
