Introduction

In this role, you'll be the key link between design and industrialization-ensuring layouts meet all technical, quality, and cost requirements. What's in it for you? What are you going to do 

Translate requirements into layout designs. You work with electrical designers to define and agree on layout requirements, translating them into functional PCB designs.

Balance performance, quality, and cost. You ensure your layouts align with performance goals while keeping quality high and costs under control.

Collaborate across departments. Within R&D, you cooperate closely with design engineers. Outside R&D, you work with production and procurement to prepare layouts for industrialization.

Stay ahead of the curve. You implement the latest technologies in PCB design and keep up with developments in the field to ensure your work meets current standards and future demands.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • At least an MBO++ or HBO diploma in Electronics or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in PCB/PCA design.

  • Proficiency in tools like ZUKEN CR8000 (preferred), as well as Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • A solid understanding of digital, analog, and power layout design.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (bare board and assembly), industry standards (e.g., IPC), and technologies such as HDI, Flex, COB, CSP.

  • Familiarity with EMC, EMI, SI, and PI considerations.

  • Planning and prioritization skills.

  • Affinity with the commercial aspects of electronics.

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
