Introduction

The team work onsite servicing and maintaining power generation equipment. This includes generators, engines, and associated mechanical equipment critical to remote and regional power supply. Whether you're a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, or have another mechanical trade background, if you're mechanically minded and keen to learn you are encouraged to apply.

What are you going to do 

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems, including generators and engines.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Work from maintenance schedules and job plans, updating records and service documentation.
  • Collaborate with electrical and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a positive safety culture

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Trade qualified in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or similar.
  • Good general mechanical aptitude - power generation experience is not required.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

During the interview, you will be assessed on your level of experience and skills, work history, availability, and the qualifications the company is seeking for the position.

Meeting in Real Life

After successfully making through the phone interview, a face to face interview will be scheduled between the candidate and recruiter. This session can be a more in-depth  interview to review your communication and interpersonal skills.
