Introduction

Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects in Dutch port areas and industrial sectors. If you have a proven track record in managing high-value projects and excel in dynamic environments while building strong client relationships, this opportunity is for you!

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of significant infrastructure and civil engineering projects, each valued at €10 million and above. You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead and manage major infrastructure and industrial projects in port areas and industrial sectors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Oversee project teams, including project preparers, chief executors, and external partners.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with contracts and organizational standards.
  • Effectively manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment and provide innovative solutions to challenges.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Completed higher vocational education (hbo) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the concrete construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex civil projects, ideally in port areas.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driving license B.
