Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Advisor to join our client, a well-established developer / builder delivering luxury high-rise apartment projects across Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to work on landmark developments while contributing to a strong safety culture within a supportive and high-performing team.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead on-site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Provide safety training, mentoring, and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance and maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
  • Support project teams in fostering a safety-first mindset from pre-start through to project completion.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Certificate IV and / or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (Required)

  • Demonstrated experience as a Safety Advisor in the Australian Commercial Construction industry, ideally on high-rise or multi-residential projects. (Required)
  • In-depth knowledge of current WHS legislation and best practice standards.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels of site personnel.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for safety.
