Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Advisor to join our client, a well-established developer / builder delivering luxury high-rise apartment projects across Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity to work on landmark developments while contributing to a strong safety culture within a supportive and high-performing team.

What are you going to do

Lead on-site safety initiatives and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Provide safety training, mentoring, and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance and maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
Support project teams in fostering a safety-first mindset from pre-start through to project completion.

Essential skills and knowledge

Certificate IV and / or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (Required)
Demonstrated experience as a Safety Advisor in the Australian Commercial Construction industry, ideally on high-rise or multi-residential projects. (Required)
In-depth knowledge of current WHS legislation and best practice standards.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across all levels of site personnel.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for safety.
