Introduction

You will be joining the team at Yatala assisting with the assembly of their electrical components throughout various stages with day to day duties that will include:

What are you going to do 

  • Use of Hand Tools including Torque Driver
  • Final testing of products and assembly of brackets and clamps.
  • Build electronic, electro-mechanic and mechanic assemblies or sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards.
  • Constantly monitors availability of parts, tools and machines needed to complete product in the relevant subsequent steps of the overall assembly process.
  • Uses specific equipment and/or a range of specialized tools and machines, and maintains functionality.
  • Packaging items into boxes and pallets
  • Lift truck operation (training supplied)
  • Planning your own work steps in cooperation with other team members.
  • Assists in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
  • Manual handling involved in this role - stacking items on crates/pallets for dispatch etc.
  • When packing is not high demand assistance with Ad hoc duties might be required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Experience in Electrical Assembly is a must!
  • Requires high level of detail/accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with 1Nm, 4.5Nm and 7Nm Torque Drivers would be beneficial.
  • Experience with hand tools.
  • Problem solving skills and a good attitude.
  • Ability to follow repetitive processes without deviation.
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Excel skills would be advantageous).
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow all PPE and HSE requirements.
  • Must have Full Australian working rights
