Introduction

You will drive strategic developments for the Life Science business by evaluating the best Go-to-Market approach, including direct, dealer, or agency models, and the potential impacts on the broader Life Science business units and departments, including Research & Materials Testing Centre and International Standard Classification of Operations.

In addition, this role will support the SLS Commercial Organisation with strategic planning and business development projects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Education/Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial strategy, market assessment, and business model evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of the Life Science industry and the New Zealand market is a plus.
