Introduction

  • Ensure the interface activities between the Offshore Projects and other companies, operators and end-users operating within Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) are efficiently facilitated and to ensure interface parties are provided with the required information, by the scheduled date, to allow them to complete their scope of work, and to provide an auditable trail of the information flow.
  • Facilitate timely identification, management, and resolution of all technical, execution, internal and external interfaces to successfully execute the Project.
  • Support Project Management Team in identifying and progressing definition and resolution of the onshore interface issues to allow execution of the Project on schedule.
  • Coordinate with – Project Management Team discipline engineers to get timely endorsement and approval of all onshore interfaces.
  • Support interface packages preparation and submission to the Third Parties (RLC, Dolphin, Kahramaa, Ras Girtas Power Company (RGPC) and all other emerging projects), utilizing excellent communication skills combined with the ability to relate well to people at all levels and different cultures.
  • Coordinate with – Project Management Team and EPC Contractors to ensure development and timely approval of the offshore crossings’ technical submission packages to RLC, leading the Project teams and providing exemplary levels of services to multi-discipline Project teams with proven ability to take responsibility, make decision, and be accountable

What are you going to do 

  • Support Offshore Project Management Team in interfacing with onshore Contractors and various entities during all phases of Project planning, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, start-up and transition to operations.
  • Ensure consistency and effective implementation of the Project Interface Management Plan, facilitating and controlling the Project Interfaces through queries and agreements related to the onshore scope.
  • Provide coordination support for the onshore interface activities between the Offshore - Projects and other Companies, Operators and end-users operating within Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC).
  • Assist the Offshore Project Interface Team to ensure all documents requested by Third Parties / Government Bodies are provided in a timely manner to obtain required acceptance / agreements / approval of project interfaces.
  • Provide oversight of the offshore Contractors and Subcontractors during Offshore - Project engineering, construction, commissioning and start-up activities to ensure clear, accurate, timely, and consistent communication with other organizations with respect to transferring interface information.
  • Ascertain onshore Contractors’ overall performance in managing Interfaces by attending the internal and external audits of Contractors Interface Management Systems, ensuring compliance with the Project requirements.
  • Advise onshore Contractors when needed, to ensure the implementation of an effective interface management process verifying the accuracy of the Interface Agreements and Interface Register.
  • Ensure all onshore related Interface Agreements are closed upon the completion of the construction works by submitting the updated documents/drawings to the Third Parties.
  • Ensure that all onshore related Interface Agreements managed by Contractors are agreed / closed with the demonstration that Contractors final documentation reflects the received data and inputs from agreed Interface Agreements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
  • 8 years of experience in project management activities (Greenfield & Brownfield) related to oil and gas production and development (including contracts).
  • Experience with government agencies, contractors, and vendors, particularly those involved in the construction of offshore and onshore facilities.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
  • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Engineering, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
  • Experience in developing Interface Management Plans, developing interface management processes, and creating project interface registers and interface reporting systems.
  • A good proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literate and proficiency involving the regular use of professional office applications to prepare status of interface and agreement decisions from third parties, stakeholders, and shareholders alike, and understanding of interface management software (where applicable).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple interface activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate with LNG internal teams and Contractor’s team to obtain required information as requested by his manager.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple teams and support multiple activities and documentation concurrently.
