Introduction

  • Safety System Implementation: Oversee the implementation of comprehensive safety systems and procedures, with a focus on identifying potential hazards and managing fatigue to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintenance Scheduling and Execution: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance work orders for instrumentation, ensuring alignment with site and overall maintenance objectives.
  • Supervision of Maintenance Activities: Supervise all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities related to construction process equipment, ensuring that work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Accountable for monitoring maintenance and repair activities, both scheduled and unscheduled. This includes analyzing and troubleshooting technical failures, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Maintenance Reporting and Analysis: Review maintenance and technical reports, monitor time usage in the field, and compare actual performance against planned schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure that all repair and maintenance operations are managed efficiently, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and operational excellence.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in maintenance management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive experience in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance work orders for instrumentation and related equipment.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in the context of construction process equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical failures and optimize resource utilization for maintenance activities.

Operational Excellence:

  • A strong commitment to operational excellence, with a focus on ensuring that all maintenance and repair activities are managed efficiently and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices and operational procedures.

Certifications and Licenses (Optional):

  • Certifications in maintenance planning and safety, such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
