What are you going to do 

As a Logistics Engineer NPI at Brunel, you will play a critical role in the successful introduction of new products into high-tech supply chains. You will work on diverse assignments at leading companies in the Eindhoven region, where you will be responsible for:

  • NPI Planning: Designing and implementing logistics strategies for new product launches, ensuring seamless integration into existing supply chains.
  • Process Optimization: Analyzing and improving logistics processes, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
  • Supplier Management: Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and services for new products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to align logistics processes with project timelines and goals.
  • Data Analysis: Leveraging data to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify potential bottlenecks in the supply chain.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices across the logistics function.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics engineering, with a focus on NPI within the high-tech industry.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in logistics planning tools, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work on various projects and adapt to different company cultures and processes.
