Introduction

We are a leading global provider of specialised workforce solutions in the fields of engineering, technical and digital services. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced E&I Quality Assurance and Quality Control Principal to join our client's team based in Perth CBD on 12 month contract, Monday to Friday roster.

What are you going to do 

As the E&I Quality Assurance and Quality Control Principal, you'll be responsible for directing quality control and sign off activities, completing project quality audits, managing supplier quality performance, and providing site support and expertise. You must have a strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and codes of practice, as well as experience in construction and commissioning. Other duties include:

  • Reviewing completed Inspection and Test Records (ITRs) and test documentation during the FAT phases.
  • Coordinating vendor attendance at the site to support commissioning activities according to the schedule.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities and introducing tools and processes to enhance project efficiency.
  • Managing the compilation, review, and approval of Manufacturer Data Records (MDRs).
  • Reviewing and approving Construction Test Packages (CTPs) at each completion stage.
  • Offering technical support and mentorship to on-site teams.
  • Ensuring project documentation and drawings are kept up-to-date and aligned with SDRL and CDMS requirements.
  • Monitoring and improving the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conducting quality audits for the project.
  • Overseeing the collection, review, and approval of project quality deliverables.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Must have a WA A grade electrical licence
  • Must have the right to work in Australia to be considered for the role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Experience in construction and commissioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Availability to work on a Monday to Friday roster
