Introduction

Are you a dedicated professional with experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety? We are seeking a dynamic individual to elevate quality management within a leading organization.

What are you going to do 

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring quality KPIs and defining the necessary tools and IT systems. You will ensure the organization complies with relevant legislation and certification requirements, initiating corrective actions when needed.

Additionally, you will write and implement standards and procedures. You will maintain permits, provide reports, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will coordinate internal and external audits, participate in improvement initiatives, and offer training on quality and food safety. You will manage changes in projects, ensuring quality is maintained during innovations.

You will promote a culture of continuous improvement by achieving quality goals and optimizing processes. In crisis situations, you will coordinate activities and conduct mock recalls to prepare the organization for potential risks.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Quality Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Control, preferably in food industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety systems and production environments.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Effective communication, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Result-driven and proactive team player.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage daily tasks.
  • Experience in translating requirements into practical workflows.
  • Trainer skills and ability to motivate colleagues and clients.
  • Autonomous, ownership-driven, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on improvements.
