Our client is a leading player in the mining sector, committed to sustainability and decarbonisation. They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and oversee projects that drive carbon reduction initiatives across mining and rail operations.
Role:
Lead Projects: Manage all phases, ensuring alignment with sustainability, budget, and timeline goals.
Drive Decarbonisation: Implement carbon reduction strategies across mining and rail.
Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with teams, clients, and regulators to meet sustainability targets.
Manage Risks: Identify and mitigate environmental, budget, and technical risks.
Lead Teams: Guide cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Control Budgets & Schedules: Oversee resources and ensure timely delivery.
Report on Sustainability: Provide updates on progress, carbon metrics, and impacts.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to decarbonisation regulations.
Promote Innovation: Integrate cutting-edge technologies and practices.
Drive Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance future project efficiency.
