We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SURF Engineer to join our offshore deepwater project team. This key technical leadership role will involve planning, defining, and executing engineering activities for floating production systems, subsea facilities, topsides, hull, and mooring systems. What are you going to do
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and define scope of work for floating systems and onshore processing facilities (OPF), including topsides, hull, and mooring.
- Lead engineering design from conceptual studies through FEED and execution.
- Prepare contracting strategies, scopes of work, and tender documentation.
- Manage SURF and floating system contracts across engineering, fabrication, integration, and installation phases.
- Support Project Manager / VP Projects in project execution planning, stage-gate reviews, and assurance activities.
- Oversee risk management, cost and schedule control, and technical assurance across SURF deliverables.
- Interface management across multiple disciplines, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Focus on Floating production systems, SURF design & execution, OPF integration
- Project Lifecycle on Concept → FEED → EPC / Installation execution
Essential skills and knowledge
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
- 20-25 years of oil & gas industry experience
- At least 15 years in deepwater projects and 10 years in a senior engineer / project management role for floating or SURF systems
- Proven track record across full project lifecycle
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in preparing contracts, managing tenders, and supervising contractors
- Core expertise: SURF engineering, project management, contracts, EPCI execution
- Indonesian Passport Holder
