What are you going to do 

  • Manage the development and integration of subsystems within the framework of a train development project for a specific customer
  • Dedicate yourself to the mechanical, electrical and software integration of the given subsystems into the train
  • Create specifications according to customer requirements, internal and market requirements, further process documentation on subsystems for the customer
  • Evaluate the results of the work of external suppliers and internal development teams, ensure acceptance testing in the laboratory or directly on the train
  • Responsibility for maintaining the required quality level, deadline and budget
  • Collaborate with specialists from various departments of our company including purchasing, production, quality assurance

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • University degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or knowledge gained through practice
  • Experience in leading one or more projects in the field of research and development or engineering as a technical project manager
  • Knowledge of system architecture, network and telecommunications technologies
  • Ability to create a concept for system integration of hardware and software components
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language
