Introduction

My client, a market leader in the mining sector, is seeking two Process Control Systems Engineers for a short-term assignment spanning 3 weeks.

About this role

  • PLC Programming: Develop and modify programs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
  • SCADA Systems: Work extensively with Rockwell FactoryTalk View (SE Distributed preferred).
  • VSD Configuration & Commissioning: Set up and commission Variable Speed Drives, ideally PowerFlex.
  • Problem-Solving & Fault-Finding: Diagnose and resolve complex control system issues efficiently.

Is this you?

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience in process control within industrial settings.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley).
  • Expertise in Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE systems.
  • Proficiency in configuring and commissioning PowerFlex VSDs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
  • Flexibility to work across day and night shifts as required.
