Introduction

We're currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a large-scale LNG development. This is a key role, responsible for planning and executing electrical activities from construction through to commissioning and handover.

This is a site-based position on a roster offered on a 12-month contact. Long-term work scope with key delivery phases ahead.

Applicants must reside in Australia and hold valid work rights to be considered

What are you going to do 

  • Ensure all activities comply with local safety regulations.
  • Support project execution under supervision of Electrical Lead, coordinating across engineering, construction, clients, and vendors to align activities with project goals.
  • Prepare and execute system testing and commissioning procedures, ensures documentation is complete, supports system turnover processes, and addresses field changes, non-conformance, and punch list resolution.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering commissioning on major energy or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understaning of start up and brownfield operations
  • Capable of accurately reading and understanding electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, and mechanical process flow diagrams (PFDs) to support commissioning and troubleshooting activities
  • MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
