Introduction

We're seeking an experienced HV (Heavy Vehicle) Fitter with a solid background in underground mining to join a well-established operation near Cobar, NSW. This permanent role offers FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, or DIDO within 800km. You'll work as part of a high-performing team maintaining a modern fleet of Sandvik, CAT, and Epiroc underground equipment. What are you going to do 

Working in a fast-paced, supportive UG maintenance team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Servicing and maintaining a fleet of modern underground mobile equipment

  • Diagnosing, repairing and rebuilding Sandvik, CAT or Epiroc gear

  • Performing scheduled maintenance, component change-outs, and fault finding

  • Contributing to a safety-first, team-oriented work environment

  • Using Pronto CMMS and digital tools for accurate reporting and planning

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Cert III Heavy Vehicle/Diesel Fitter trade

  • At least 2-3 years' post-trade experience, with UG mining experience

  • Hands-on experience with Sandvik, CAT or Epiroc (one or more)

  • C Class manual driver's licence (HR highly regarded)

  • Strong safety record and a great team player

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Cert II Automotive Air-Conditioning
  • High Risk Licences - Forklift, Dogging, Gantry Crane
