What are you going to do 

The Verification Coordinator is an experienced professional with expertise in systems engineering and a strong understanding of the product lifecycle, focusing on verification for autonomous mining solutions built on complex distributed systems. They lead a team of test analysts and engineers to ensure systems meet technical specifications, collaborating with product, architecture, and development teams to resolve defects and mitigate risks, delivering reliable and high-performing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Verification Leadership: Plan and execute verification processes to ensure system integrity during the verification phase.
  • Team Oversight: Lead test analysts and engineers in functional, automated, reliability, scalability, performance, hardware-inthe-loop, and experimental testing, documenting technical requirements.
  • Defect Resolution: Identify and resolve defects, collaborating with teams to address issues like real-time processing and system durability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align verification with technical goals, engaging product managers, architects, and developers.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risks in distributed systems (e.g., network reliability, data synchronization).
  • Quality Metrics: Track metrics (e.g., uptime, fault tolerance) to meet system standards.
  • Reporting: Provide concise reports on verification progress and system readiness.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Skills

  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, with a focus on verificationʼs role in ensuring quality.
  • Expertise in functional, automated, reliability, scalability, performance, hardware-in-the-loop, and experimental testing for distributed systems.
  • Deep knowledge of autonomous mining systems and related technical challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead verification for complex projects. Analytical skills for evaluating test results and resolving issues. Clear communication to align technical teams.

KPIs

  • Timely verification completion within the product lifecycle.
  • Achievement of performance and reliability benchmarks for autonomous systems. High defect resolution rate for system quality.
  • Stakeholder confidence in verification and system readiness. Compliance with autonomous system standards
