Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at a leading fertilizer company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop design ideas for new structures and renovation of existing infrastructure.
  • Create and revise plans and drawings for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the most viable solution for each project.
  • Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure a project’s success.
  • Prepare plans and estimate costs and timeframes for project completion.
  • Implement and monitor civil construction plans and procedures.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant building and safety codes.
  • Present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design within the fertilizer, gas, or petrochemical process industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of mathematical concepts.
