Introduction

  • We are seeking an experienced Static Design Engineer to join our team at a leading fertilizer company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing static equipment for Ammonia-Urea projects and will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our industrial processes.

What are you going to do 

  • Design and develop static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, and storage tanks for Ammonia-Urea projects
  • Perform mechanical calculations, stress analysis, and material selection in compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.)
  • Ensure designs meet project specifications, safety requirements, and client expectations
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, piping, structural, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Review and approve technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to evaluate technical proposals and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Ensure adherence to international engineering codes and best practices
  • Support project management teams in planning and executing design deliverables

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in static equipment design within Ammonia-Urea (Fertilizer) projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, material selection, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in design software such as PV Elite, AutoPIPE, ANSYS, or similar tools
