Design Engineer - Mechanical

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer Mechanical to join our team in Zhuhai. As part of the Operations Engineering team, you will support our bus production activities by performing various CAD tasks and contributing to the engineering processes that ensure smooth production at our local assembly partner. You will collaborate closely with our engineers in the Netherlands and our production partner in China to maintain high standards of quality and innovation in mechanical design.

THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT...

· You will support Digital Mock-Up (DMU) checks for buses, proactively identifying potential part collisions and production challenges, and develop solutions in collaboration with the engineering team in the Netherlands.

· You will participate in the TRI (Temporary Rework Instruction) and ECR (Engineering Change Request) processes, creating the necessary CAD models and drawings to facilitate production.

· You will actively engage in discussions with the local team and our engineers in the Netherlands to address and solve existing technical problems.

· You will modify CAD models and drawings when European parts are substituted with local parts, ensuring clear communication with the engineering team.

· You will ensure your CAD data is stored properly, following the company's existing procedures and standards.

· You will support production with technical issues and questions related to mechanical systems.
