Introduction

Brunel have partnered with a leading Queensland construction company who are renowned for their excellence in delivering high-quality commercial projects.

Due to team expansion, they are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join their team in the new year.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

While this is a commercial role it will have a strong focus on continuing the great relationship in place with long term sub contractors, this is a business that prides itself on really partnering with all involved in the project.

  • Administer and manage commercial construction contracts from inception to completion.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain all contract-related documents, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, financials, and project progress for senior management and stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar. (Required)
  • 7+ years of post-university experience within the commercial construction industry (Required)
  • Exposure to commercial projects $100m+ (Required)
  • Proven tenure in recent positions
  • Able to create reports and analyse data.
  • Solid reporting and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative and motivation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Jobpac, Procore, Hammertech and the Microsoft Suite.
