Introduction

On behalf of our client, a global energy leader, we're looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to provide critical reliability engineering support to operational facilities.

About this role

  • Compliance:

    • Ensure production reliability health indicator targets and company business goals are met.
    • Present periodic reliability reports, including:
      • Support Bi-Monthly Reliability Forums with reliability analytics, production events, risks, and improvement plan status.
      • Contribute to Weekly and Monthly Production Meetings and the Monthly Joint Venture Partners report.
  • Leadership:

    • Lead and support the completion of reliability system/process improvement initiatives.
    • Coach production and engineering staff on RCA Toolset and Defect Elimination methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Utilize advanced reliability-based approaches, assessment techniques, and analytics.
    • Provide coordination and support for the Defect Elimination program and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
    • Develop and use tools for Bad Actor identification, reliability measurement, and equipment failure data collection.
    • Configure and effectively utilize RAM models, applying RCM processes to integrate reliability analytics into maintenance engineering.

Is this you?

  • BSc/BEng in an engineering discipline (or equivalent).
  • Master of Reliability Engineering or Certified Reliability Engineer preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant experience in a reliability engineering role.
  • Able to data mine from company databases, performing reliability analysis with clear actionable outcomes
  • Expertise in identifying Bad Actors across equipment types using data from various sources.
  • Experienced facilitator of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with a strong understanding of Defect Elimination and Reliability Improvement programs.
  • Proficient in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) modelling.
  • Knowledge of Monte Carlo simulation and Markov Analysis.
  • Experienced in using reliability modeling to predict system reliability and the impact of failure finding and PdM task intervals.
  • Familiar with methodologies such as RCM, FMECA, RBI, and SIL.
  • Skilled in Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) techniques and working with safety-critical elements.
