Introduction

This role supports the delivery of maintenance, upgrades and customer-driven projects across the local energy network. The team is responsible for a wide range of field work including generation, distribution and metering and is supported with access to training and development in areas like high voltage switching, battery systems, and standalone power systems.

What are you going to do 

  • Perform maintenance, installations, and network upgrades in line with industry standards
  • Complete inspection and commissioning records (both electronic and paper-based)
  • Participate in the on-call roster for afterhours and emergency fault response
  • Operate equipment and machinery safely within licence and qualification limits
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions and organisational policies

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Cert III in ESI - Distribution Powerline or equivalent Lineworker trade qualification
  • HR driver's licence (or willingness to transfer to WA equivalent)
  • White Card
  • High Risk Licences: EWP/WP, Forklift (FL), Dogman (DG), Rigging (RB)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

Desirable:

  • Cable Jointing Cert III
  • HV/LV Switching experience
  • Glove and barrier qualification
  • Pole top and EWP rescue training
  • C2 Crane Licence
