Introduction

We're seeking an Operations Technology Lead to oversee the performance and reliability of OT network infrastructure across our clients site operations. This is a hands-on, site-based role in Brisbane, perfect for someone ready to lead, not just support, industrial networks.

What are you going to do 

You'll help develop team capabilities and deepen OT/industry knowledge, offering strategic guidance and executing department-level plans that drive long-term success.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of OT networks across sites.
  • Own the operational health and security of networks.
  • Ensure OT network environments are compliant with site standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and safety protocols
  • Develop and mentor internal technical staff, fostering team capability, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvemen
  • Maintain documentation, technical roadmaps, and lifecycle plans for OT network infrastructure

Essential skills and knowledge 

To thrive in this role, you'll bring a mix of strong technical depth, leadership capability, and the ability to work collaboratively across complex operational environments.

  • Proven experience managing complex systems and resolving technical challenges with sound judgement and confident decision-making.
  • A track record of providing technical leadership and support to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of OT systems, industrial protocols and SCADA/PLC environments.
  • Experience working on or supporting OT networks in oil & gas, mining or heavy industrial environments.
  • Mandatory tickets for site access, i.e. White Card, Medicals etc
  • Degree and/or Masters in Engineering or Information Technology, with extensive relevant and practical experience.
