Introduction

Join a major energy operator as a Senior Subsea Engineer in the Early Development team, supporting subsea projects across hydrocarbon and CCS development phases. You'll act as the technical owner of subsea scopes, contributing to safe, reliable, and CAPEX-efficient designs.

Applicants must be located in Australia and hold current work rights. Perth-based candidates are strongly preferred.

About this role

  • Provide subsea engineering support during Concept Select and Pre-FEED
  • Drive assurance on designs for structures such as XTs, manifolds, and tie-ins
  • Participate in risk assessments, operability, and constructability reviews
  • Collaborate with drilling, pipelines, environment, and operations teams
  • Lead contractor reviews, manage inputs and track deliverables
  • Perth-based opportunity with a global operator
  • Key role supporting large-scale development projects
  • Work across early phase design, risk reviews, and contractor engagement

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
  • 10+ years' subsea engineering experience within oil & gas
  • Expertise in mechanical and structural design of subsea equipment
  • Strong familiarity with ISO 13628 (Part 15 preferred)
  • Experience across concept, Pre-FEED, FEED and execution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
