We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are upheld across all projects. You will work closely with project teams to promote a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all activities align with legislative requirements and company policies.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including procedures, forms, registers, and records.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to monitor compliance with safety standards.
Prepare and review Project Risk Assessments (PRA), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Risk Assessment Worksheets (RAW).
Support the resolution of Work Health and Safety (WHS) issues by consulting with project teams and workers.
Coordinate and participate in internal audits and reviews of management system implementation, reporting on compliance.
Stay updated with industry-related events and legislative changes to ensure continuous improvement in safety practices
Minimum 3 years' experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of WHS legislation, construction safety standards, and risk management frameworks.
Experience managing complex site safety requirements across multiple project stages.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach to identifying hazards and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
