Introduction

We are recruiting a Civil Engineer/ Specialist to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Bangalore and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Conventional Energy sector.

What are you going to do

Position: Civil Engineer / Specialist.

Contract: On Contract role.

Considered an expert in Civil Engineering. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Provides instructions and guidelines to lower-level personnel. Works with limited to no supervision. Primary job functions typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to Senior level Management.

Essential skills and knowledge

Masters or Post Graduate degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of Industry experience working in major brownfield / greenfield projects pertaining to Downstream / Midstream.
Strong Technical and Analytical skills.
Experience in evaluation of existing structures.
Experience with fixed and floating structures.
Ability to evaluate conceptual designs for feasibility & construction.
Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (STAAD, SACS, ETABS, etc.
Mandatory exposure to US/Canadian code of Practices with experience in working on Canadian codes and cold temperatures.
Demonstrated teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential.
