Introduction

  • To coordinate technical commissioning activities preparation (E&I), having close contact with other parties involved, and in respect with company regulations.
  • To supervise activities from Construction to Operations with different yards and to be the link with brownfield phase.
  • To be the technical reference for all matters related to his trade and providing solutions to technical issues.
  • To assist and support the Commissioning Manager for activities linked to company’s projects in both preparation and execution phases at Doha, at the fabrication sites and offshore at Al-Shaheen field when needed.

What are you going to do 

  • EPCIC PRE-COMMISSIONING /COMMISSIONING PREPARATION PHASE
    • When commissioning is prepared by contractor, provide technical E&I supervision of contractor, and advise in view to meet company expectation.
    • Ensure compliance with international standards in all commissioning activities.
    • Has a clear understanding of all type of operational and organization documents related to interfaces with other parties (contractor, field operation, drilling, onshore, offshore).
    • Provide E&I technical supervision on the combined Pre-commissioning / Commissioning punch list.
    • Assist Construction/Pre-commissioning & Commissioning requests.
    • Manage the preparation of pre-commissioning/commissioning procedures and reporting tools.
  • EPCIC COMMISSIONING EXECUTION PHASE
    • Provide E&I Technical expertise and address any issues arising during execution.
    • Ensure proper adherence to HSEQ following the electrical safety standards.
    • Organize and lead the commissioning coordination meeting Onshore and Offshore.
    • To manage the execution of commissioning to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and
    • achieve smooth hand over.
    • To interface with MP Project teams for prioritization of construction completion.
    • Review and handover of technical documents, procedures and drawing with Field Operation.
    • To follow up and interface with brownfield execution scope.
  • EPCIC REPORTING AND PROGRESS FOLLOW UP
    • Provide daily reporting as per Commissioning Manager requirements.
    • To supervise the reporting of commissioning execution to ensure that all technical, contractual and cost
    • information is properly recorded and collected.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • At least 15-20 years’ experience in oil & gas industry with minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead Commissioning role,
  • Experience in multi discipline as electrical, instrumentation and control system,
  • Experience of pre-commissioning & commissioning in EPCIC Project,
  • Experience of pre-commissioning & commissioning in Brownfield project as a plus,
  • Experience on construction yard,
  • Proven track record of leadership and problem resolution,
  • Strong interpersonal and good communication skills,
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Experienced with Total General Specifications, OPERCOM and ICAPS, PRODOM and relevant codes and standards,
  • Experience with documentation manager MANASA,
  • Experience on Al Shaheen field,
  • Fluent English,
  • Computer literate,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
