Contract Engineer

This position involves managing project contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and overseeing contract negotiations and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee and administer project contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and aligned with company policies.
Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with procurement teams to manage contract-related activities, including tendering processes and vendor negotiations.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project interests.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective contract execution.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of contract documents, amendments, and correspondences for audit and reference purposes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields. A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in project services management within the oil & gas industry ($5 billion to $10 billion USD), with a focus on upstream and deep-water projects.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement, contract management, and financial reporting tools.
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
