Introduction

Brunel International is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor (Fixed Plant) to join our team in Papua New Guinea. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our operations.

What are you going to do 

As the Mechanical Supervisor (Fixed Plant), you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of all fixed plant equipment within our facilities in Papua New Guinea. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety standards. Your role will involve developing maintenance schedules, coordinating maintenance activities, and troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in gold mining fixed plant environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of technicians
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to FIFO out of Papua New Guinea
