Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project controls, including planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management within the oil and gas industry.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
  • Monitor project performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide financial management support, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project-related risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all project controls activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of project schedules, cost estimates, and related documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior project controls engineers and other team members.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial management, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project controls software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
