- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate process capabilities.
- Manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities with suppliers.
- Investigate non-conformities, coordinates root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
- Review and approve supplier documentation, including control plans and inspection reports.
- Supports the development and qualification of new suppliers and materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, purchasing, production) on supplier-related quality topics.
- Monitors supplier performance metrics (PPM, delivery reliability) and drives improvement plans.
- Support customer audits and prepares relevant supplier quality documentation.
Essential skills and knowledge
- Required knowledge of tools: such as APQP, PPAP, experience with process verifies at suppliers
- Advanced knowledge of technical documentation
- Experience in automotive in the same or similar position is a big plus
- Secondary education in technical engineering is advantage
- Knowledge of second language (English, German) is advantage
