Introduction

In this role as Supply Network Planner Projects & Continuous Improvement, you will contribute to a major strategic business transformation, which includes the closure of a production facility and its integration into another, the implementation of a new planning tool, and delivering key improvement projects to reduce costs and inventories. Additionally, you will manage part of the product portfolio, ensuring effective supply chain operations.

What are you going to do

You will play a central role in optimizing the valorization of supply-driven flows, closely collaborating with commercial teams and the global planning team to maximize value, enhance service, and reduce costs. This dynamic role combines strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and network optimization projects.

You will join a central Supply Network Planning team, consisting of six planners who oversee the portfolio. The position is based in Amersfoort, with flexibility to work from the head office, home, and perform plant visits across multiple locations. You will report directly to the Manager of Supply Planning.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management.
Knowledge of planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS and MRP.
Experience in planning tooling like SAP APO, OMP or equivalent.
>2 years' experience as project manager.
Well-developed analytical and decision making skills.
Good communication skills and stakeholder management.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
