Brunel Energy is pleased to announce the award of an exclusive project resourcing agreement with a Russian fertilizer giant to staff a US$1.6 Billion greenfield ammonia and urea plant in Louisiana. Brunel outranked other international firms in this process thanks to excellent cooperation between Brunel’s offices in Moscow and Houston, who where collectively able to effectively show-case Brunel’s unique delivery capabilities.
Our latest client is one of the world's leading mineral fertilizer producers and manufactures a wide range of high-quality nitrogen, phosphate and NPK fertilizers, as well as feed phosphates, industrial, raw materials and other products. The project team will ramp up from Q4 2016 and the facility is projected to start up by 2019. A recently published article about the project refers to an estimated 2,000 persons to be employed during the construction phase as well as 200 permanent jobs being created upon operation, paying approximately US$11.6m per year.
Particularly in today’s market, such a high profile project is a both great gift to the region as well as great opportunity for all the loyal engineers, supervisors and inspectors that have supported Brunel throughout the years‘, says Andre Harden – Brunel’s Account Manager on this project.
Brunel Energy will continue its strategy planning and adaptation to todays market. By sticking to our core values, we will continue to see growth in new areas of operation, while further strengthening our services within our current client network. The market is tough but there are still a lot of opportunities around us.
