Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at a leading fertilizer company.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and water systems.
This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do

Develop design ideas for new structures and renovation of existing infrastructure.
Create and revise plans and drawings for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Conduct feasibility studies to determine the most viable solution for each project.
Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to ensure a project’s success.
Prepare plans and estimate costs and timeframes for project completion.
Implement and monitor civil construction plans and procedures.
Ensure projects comply with relevant building and safety codes.
Present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design within the fertilizer, gas, or petrochemical process industry.
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and industry standards.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
Attention to detail and a strong grasp of mathematical concepts.
