Als gedreven Cloud Engineer PaaS jij problemen niet zo snel door naar de to-do lijst van morgen. Issues los je het liefst zo snel mogelijk, maar vooral zo goed mogelijk op. Zolang de Cloud maar draait als een zonnetje, overal ter wereld. Jij weet precies wat ervoor nodig is om de virtuele wolken klaar te maken voor morgen, en dat is waarom Brunel jou moet hebben. What are you going to do

Waar je precies aan de slag gaat, bespreken we tijdens onze kennismaking. Maar reken maar op een overheidsorganisatie die naar de toekomst kijkt! Hoe dan ook bied jij operationele support binnen een cloud-omgeving, en dat doe je vaak in teamverband. Je biedt ondersteuning op Platform as a Service en zorgt ervoor dat de cloud altijd op en top draait en gericht is op de toekomst.

In jouw functie zul je veel bezig zijn met branden blussen: bugfixes, security-incidenten. Bovendien voer je het nodige onderhoudswerk uit en implementeer je de nieuwste updates. Hiervoor is het uiteraard belangrijk dat je de zaak goed monitort, hoewel je ook via klantcontact op de nodige issues stuit.

Je toont initiatief, en dat is waar wij van houden. Zie jij hobbels op de weg, dan speel je daar uiteraard meteen op in. Je voelt jezelf dan ook erg verantwoordelijk voor jouw producten! Af en toe moet je hiervoor wel even out of the box denken, maar dat kun jij gelukkig wel.

Essential skills and knowledge

Je hebt een relevante opleiding richting (Bedrijfskundige) Informatica.
Je hebt ervaring met service oriented architecture (SOA) en cloud computing.
Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met Linux*.
Je hebt ervaring met virtualisatietechnieken zoals VMware.
Je kunt scripten met bijvoorbeeld Puppet of Ansible.

*Bij voorkeur heb je zelfs een RHCSA of RHCE-certificaat.
