Introduction

Brunel are currently seeking an Operations Engineer to join our clients team based in Darwin, NT. This position is permanent and residentially based in Darwin.

What are you going to do

Responsibilities

Support the activities of Technical and Maintenance Manager (TMM) particularly during extraordinary modifications and activities.
Coordinate Operation/ Asset objectives from the planning, scheduling and progress reporting standpoint and serve as a focal point in the preparation, maintenance, progressing and reporting of the Asset Integrated Schedules covering 14D, 90D and 18M operational/ maintenance plan.
Support TMM and Offshore teams with day to day response and trouble shoot of critical issues.
Will be required to mobilise offshore to support turnaround or specific asset project tasks.
Support mobilization planning of vendors / contractors and associated equipment to the offshore facility.
Continuous improvement of maintenance strategy in co-operation with senior ops engineer, TMM & AM in order to achieve a safe and efficient operation.
Support the TMM in the preparation of the maintenance schedules for campaigns and projects such as planned maintenance shutdown, ROV inspections ect. And communication of these schedules to all parties.
Identify maintenance backlog (overdue work orders from CMMS/IFS). In consultation with TMM and offshore management, evaluate and finalise scope. Develop or manager development of required work packs for the planned Maintenance tasks where needed. Monitor IFS dashboard on daily basis, ensure that SCPM and RA get the attention it needs.
Support TTM in Client related meetings and reporting/ preparations thereof as required.
Actively participate in JSAs, FSAs, and RCAs as required and manage required reports and maintain historical documentation.
Direct and coordinate all relevant local requisitions for spares, consumables and services for repairs and maintenance activities.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements

Relevent degree in an engineering discipline
FPSO/Offshore O&G experience
Previous experience in a similar technical advisory role
