Project Engineer III

We're seeking a Project Engineer III to work with a major Oil and Gas company on a contract basis with the possibility of extension.
* Project engineering support for a portfolio of capital and improvement projects within the refining and chemicals space, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all project phases from early design through execution and closeout.* Oversee multiple small to mid-sized brownfield projects (typically $15-20M focused on regulatory compliance, capital return, production improvement, and capacity maintenance.
* Manage project scope involving piping systems, pumps, heat exchangers, heavy electrical, and instrumentation work.* Act as a mentor to a young contract team, fostering skill development and engagement.
* Contribute to building and balancing the department by supporting less experienced team members.* Actively engage with field crews to ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture during project execution.
* Collaborate with on-site and remote project teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across the 25+ engineers in the department.* Leverage knowledge of operator environments and existing facilities to optimize project delivery.
* Practical experience with brownfield projects and refining/chemical facilities.* SAP Experience
* Organizing and driving multiple concurrent projects effectively.* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
