Introduction

Our client, a Tier 3 Builder in Brisbane, are looking for a Full Time, Permanent Site Manager to join the team. The initial project is a New Build project in the Gold Coast.

The company are an established builder who deliver complex projects across new build, fit-out, refurbishment and infrastructure within the Education, Hospitality, Retail and Commercial industries.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

The role of the Site Manager will involve managing works on site and engaging the different stakeholders throughout the project.

  • Plan and manage the site programme.
  • Communicate effectively with different clients to ensure they receive a high quality experience.
  • Lead the site teams to meet project demands and timelines.
  • Report on Health & Safety, quality, cost control and budget.
  • Meet project KPI's.
  • Ensure projects are adhering to construction methodology and adherence to policies, procedures, relevant codes and acts.
  • Manage sub-contractors.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • QBCC Site Supervisor license (Required).
  • Exposure to New Build Commercial Construction projects from $10M+. (Required)
  • 3 -5 years experience on commercial builds.
  • Trade qualified.
  • Strong Communication.
  • Ability to read plans and understand project scopes.
