Project overview
PNG LNG project is an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities in the Southern Highlands, Hela, Western, Gulf and Central Provinces of Papua New Guinea. There are over 700km of pipelines connecting the facilities, which includes a gas conditioning plant in hides and liquefaction and storage facilities near Port Moresby with a capacity of 6.9M tonnes per year.
Work scope
Brunel’s work scope included the provision of skilled professionals and trades & craft labour for the full life cycle of the project. Brunel also specifically supported various sub-contractor groups in-country with recruitment activities in PNG; the recruited personnel consisted of general operational and maintenance positions as well as construction trades up to supervisor level.
