Onshore Wind Turbine Project Overview

Our client is a wind turbine manufacturer based in Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany active in R&D, production and servicing of (onshore) wind turbines (EP1, EP2, EP3 and EP5).

In addition active in project development offering advise during the entire project planning stage regarding preparation of leases, lease allocation formulas, creation of the farm layout plan, access road plans & crane platforms, grid connection designs, substations, risk evaluation reports, turbulence analyses, stability analyses, prognoses of yield, noise and shadow casting and wind analyses and profitability forecasts as well as subsequent approval applications.

Work Scope

The development, manufacturing, project management and servicing of onshore wind turbines delivering the equipment, to turnkey projects and complete wind farm development, including the associated project development in certain markets.

Brunel project team

Brunel was awarded a master services agreement by Enercon in Germany (Aurich,  Bremen,  Kiel  &  Soest) providing  teams  of  specialised  engineers and other high-level specialists (15-20) during the development, fabrication and servicing of turbines for various Wind Farm Projects.

In addition, Brunel provides construction management and quality engineering onsite in various countries across Europe including The  Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and Greece.
